In high school I always knew I wanted to do something with numbers. Numbers just made sense to me so I went into the field of accounting; graduating from the local community college with a degree in Applied Science of Accounting. After college I held positions in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments. I worked my way up to becoming the head Accounting manager taking care of all aspects of the job such as General Journal Entries and budgeting.

Then life changed as I had children and wanted to stay home more. With my accounting background I though tax preparation might be a good avenue to investigate. Little did I know that I was drawn to it like a duck to water. The past 30 years as a tax professional has served our family well.

Hi, I am Carol Herzog and owner of Moneybags Tax Service LLC. I have a passion to help others save money by educating them on how to acquire legal deductions and audit proofing their tax records. I have been an Enrolled Agent, before the IRS, for over 27 years and as such can represent clients in all 50 states. My specialty is guiding and preparing taxpayer returns, who file Form 1040 with a Schedule C or an S-Corporation (1120S) return. My husband and I have owned 4 successful businesses and currently my brother and I own 8 pieces of rental property. I have also been a part of the Network Marketing community since 1991.  As an Enrolled Agent I am required to complete 24 hours of continued education each year, about the tax laws. This experience, along with helping my tax clients, has provided me with a vast knowledge of business situations.

My goal is to share this vast knowledge; helping others navigate the tax laws so there is less confusion and more money in their pocket.
